‘Girls are not safe here’: Pragya Thakur objected to offering namaz in Kendriya Vidyalaya mosque

BJP MP Pragya Thakur, who is in the headlines for her statements, has objected to offering Namaz in the mosque built in Kendriya Vidyalaya number 2 of Bhopal.

The MP reached Kendriya Vidyalaya, objected to the principal and called the school unsafe for female students. Sadhvi has also demanded action against the principal and accused the local MLA Arif Masood.

Sadhvi Pragya met the principal and said that I got a complaint from the people who put up the Gumti outside the school that Namaz is offered in the mosque located in the school. She objected to it saying that girls from 1st to 12th study in the school and they are unsafe.

“I have objection that girls are not safe in the campus. Initially 15 people used to come here to offer Namaz, now 300 people come. The school principal did not try to stop this. Everyone has the freedom to worship in India, but forced worship is not good,” she said.

Sadhvi Pragya alleged that politics is being done in the matter. The principal also did not try to stop and local MLA Arif Masood is also trying to suppress the matter. “Investigation will be done in this matter and appropriate action will be taken,” she added.

While the school principal told that MP Pragya has come on the complaint of some people, girls are completely safe in the school. “The guards and teachers keep a close watch on the children. Namaz is offered in the mosque since a long time. Status quo is maintained. He has demanded the government to make the school safe in the matter.
