Karnataka: Bajrang Dal disturbed Christian prayer meet at Hassan alleging Hindus are being forcibly converted, the prayer hall is illegal

Bajrang Dal, a Hindutva outfit on Monday disturbed a Christian prayer meet at Belur in Hassan district, alleging Hindus are being forcibly converted & prayer hall construction is illegal.

Independent journalist Siraj Noorani sharing a video of the incident where women can be seen fighting back asking who are they (Bajrang Dal) to question them, tweeted, “Bajrang Dal disturbed a Christian prayer meet at Belur Hassan alleging Hindus are being forcibly converted & prayer hall constructed is illegal. Women at the church fought back saying who are they to question them. Cops had to intervene to stop the further escalation. No case regd.”

On October 19, more than 50 house churches were not allowed to hold worship services in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua district.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and other radical Hindutva outfits sent out a notice to Christians in Jhabua forbidding them from gathering, according to International Christian Concern (ICC).
