According to the victim’s sister, the accused Komal Singh, Vikram Singh and Azad Singh first came to the house and asked her to withdraw the sexual harassment case. When the victim’s mother refused, they threatened her and destroyed her house.
From there, the assailants came directly and started beating brother Nitin near the bus stand of the village. When the mother went there to intervene, they beat and stripped the mother. I begged them to leave. This time they threatened to rape me. “I ran into the forest and called the police for help,” said the victim’s sister.
