The Meghalaya chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party Ernest Mawrie has given a big statement regarding beef a few days before the elections in the state. He has said that no one has any objection to eating beef in the BJP. They themselves eat beef. To date, he has not received any instructions regarding this from anyone.
Just before the election, Mawri made the shocking statement that there is no ban on eating beef in the BJP.
When asked about the party’s stance on cow slaughter, which is considered sacred in Hinduism, Meghalaya BJP State President Ernest Mawrie stated that “we follow our own food habit and there is no ban; there is no direction for us.”
