Fire turns the money of poor man kept for wedding into ashes

NALATWAD; 25 Mar:  The fire that engulfed the house of a poor family, turned their hard earned money into ashes, the money  which was  kept for the wedding of their daughter.

Kemappa Lamani was living in a small house near Nagbenal Check post with the family where he had kept around Rs. 5 lakh for the wedding, which he had earned by working as labour in Maharashtra.

But the house that caught, took away the entire earning and left the family in aghast and shock.

Besides money, other household material also burned and gutted in the fire. The family however escaped from the fire.

Later, the police and the officials of the Revenue Department visited the house and informed them that cash worth Rs. 5 lakh, 50 gram gold, LIC policy and other valuables have been gutted in the fire.
