AMU student Madiha Noman bags fully funded scholarship for PhD at Cambridge

Aligarh Muslim University’s (AMU) student Madiha Noman has secured a fully-funded scholarship for her PhD at the University of Cambridge, the public relations office of AMU on June 8th, 2022 reported. She has completed her MA in English in 2021 from AMU and now has secured a fully-funded PhD position at the prestigious University of Cambridge.

Madiha has been a brilliant student through her career and had secured first position in her batch at AMU.

Along with academics, Madiha has previously represented AMU in Inter-University North Zone Championship as the Vice-Captain of Women’s Basketball Team and also in various National Debates said the PR office of AMU.

Madiha Noman was congratulated on her spectacular achievement by Professor Mohammad Asim Siddiqui, Chairperson, Department of English. He said that Madiha’s success, a result of her hard work, will inspire other students.
He also said that a very healthy practice of mentoring of young students in the Department goes a long way in achieving wonderful results.

It may be noted that another student of the English Department, Abdul Sabur Kidwai has also bagged a fully funded scholarship to pursue his PhD in a prestigious British university according to PR office of AMU.
