PM Modi to meet Elon Musk for the first time after he took over Elon Musk

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Tesla CEO and Twitter owner Elon Musk during his US tour starting today, ndtv.com reported.

Earlier in 2015, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had met Elon Musk during his visit to the Tesla factory in California. Elon Musk was not the owner of Twitter at that time.

The meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Elon Musk is happening at a time when Tesla is looking for a location to set up its factory in India.

In an interview conducted by ‘The Wall Street Journal’, ‘Are you interested in the Indian market?’ Elon Musk answered the question, ‘Sure’. It is also said that the location of the Tesla factory in India is likely to be finalized by the end of this year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet more than twenty intellectual leaders from various fields after landing in New York today, government sources said.

These leaders include Nobel Prize winning writers, economists, artists, scientists, academics, entrepreneurs, academics and health experts.

Government sources said that the prime minister’s talks with these leaders are aimed at understanding the development of the US and exploring possible partnerships with it.

Along with Elon Musk, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also meet author and space physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, economist Paul Romer, statistician Nicholas Nassim Taranb and investor Ray Dalio, government sources said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for the US this morning as part of a government-sponsored courtesy visit reserved by the US for its closest allies. The trip includes a speech to the US Joint Summit, a meeting with business leaders and non-resident Indians and a government-sponsored dinner at the White House with US President Joe Biden.
