New Delhi: It has been reported that three railway officials have been arrested by CBI officials investigating the Odisha train disaster case.
Arun Kumar Mahanta, Muhammad Amir Khan and Pappu Kumar have been arrested on charges of culpable homicide and destruction of evidence, the report said.
As already discussed in the case, in the report submitted by the Railway Safety Commissioner to the Railway Board, it was said that human error and negligence were the cause of this tragedy.
290 people were killed in the case.The three have been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder because they knew about the accident, reports said.
