After Lakhimpur Kheri, another BJP leader’s car rammed into protesting farmers in Punjab, one critically injured

After the Lakhimpur Kheri incident where the union minister’s son allegedly drove his car on the protesting farmer’s, BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday, allegedly rammed his car on farmers in Punjab’s Ambala, leaving farmers injured, the farmer bodies said.

A tweet by Sikh historian and author Amaan Bali read, “Confirmed: One farmer is injured badly and has been rushed to hospital.”

A farmer has been critically injured and is admitted to a hospital in Naraingarh.

The Lok Sabha member from Kurukshetra constituency in Haryana Saini was in Ambala on Thursday to attend a programme to felicitate healthcare workers who were on Covid-19 duty. The farmers had reportedly gathered to protest against the BJP MP’s visit.

Furthermore, Bali said that the latest incident is another attack on protesting farmer’s where the members of BJP have used vehicles as weapon to mow down agitators.

He has been taken to the hospital. @HWNewsEnglish”

Journalist Sakunia also shared a video of protesting farmers in Ambala.

This comes a week in the unfortunate incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri district, where the anti-farmer violence claimed the lives of 8 people, of which four farmers were mowed down by a vehicle driven by Union Minister and BJP MP Ajay Kumar Mishra’ son Ashish Mishra.
