New Delhi:Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi said that government ‘s announcement regarding the Rs 20 lakh crore relief package for economy during COVID has also turned out to be just a fancy statement.
Taking to micro blogging site twitter on Monday, Gandhi said, ‘Fancy statement during election, Rs 15 lakh in account, statement in COVID Rs 20 lakh crore relief package.’
Along with his tweet Gandhi also shared a news report wherein as per an information sought through RTI it has been informed that out of the Rs 20 lakh crore relief package announced in May for tackling Covid, only ten per cent from that has been disbursed as of now.
The Congress leader has said that the relief package announced for Covid by this government has also proved to be just a fancy statement like it had made earlier regarding Rs 15 lakh to be transferred in people’s accounts.
