MK Stalin says, No CAA, Uniform Civil Code and CM to approve governor

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam announced its 21 candidates today, for the Lok Sabha election. The party manifesto for the election Tamil Nadu was also unveiled by Chief minister MK Stalin.

He also hit out at the BJP alleging that the party had destroyed India. “It is not only a DMK manifesto but the people’s manifesto. When the BJP came to power in 2014, they destroyed India. None of the election promises were fulfilled. We have formed the INDIA Alliance, and we will form our government in 2024. In our manifesto, we have announced special schemes for Tamil Nadu and schemes for every district are given in this manifesto” MK Stalin said. “It is DMK that makes the manifesto before elections and continues to do what we say; this is what our leaders taught us. As Kanimozhi said, we went all over the state and listened to various people” MK Stalin added.

The Manifesto also added that there will be no implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) and the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Tamil Nadu.

Apart from this, the first list of 21 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was also released by the DMK government, which also includes 12 new candidates, with Kanimozhi contesting from Thoothukudi.
