Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday challenged Sudhanshu Trivedi to list out ten houses given to Muslims in UP under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Gramin.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP’s national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi were invited in the session ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ of the ninth edition of ‘Agenda Aaj Tak’ on Friday. The moderator of this session was Anjana Om Kashyap.
“Tell me what the Centre has done in Uttar Pradesh? I have filed an RTI application for Pradhan Mantri Awaaz Yoga Gramin. Just show me ten houses which have been given to Muslims in 3 years (under PMAY) in UP?” Owaisi challenged.
“Government was forced to pay UP madrasa teachers because I raised that issue in Parliament,” he further added.
During the question hour in Lok Sabha on Thursday, the AIMIM chief said that more than 50,000 madrasa teachers from 16 states were not receiving their salaries in full for the last five years.
“That’s what Muslims must understand,” Owaisi said adding, “they should create their leadership, it strengthens democracy.”
