Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar has pointed out the BJP’s slogan in Uttar Pradesh for the 2022 upcoming polls, saying that it’s nice to see the slogan of BJP “soch imaandar, kaaam dumdaar”, which has three urdu words, out of four.
Akhtar said on Twitter, “Nice to see that the slogan of UP BJP ‘soch imaandar, kaam dumdaar’ has out of four three urdu words, imaandar, kaam and Damdar.”
Imaandar, kaam and damdar are words of Urdu language. While imaandar means honest, kaam damdar means solid work.
The dates for Assembly elections in UP are yet to be announced, but the battle of poll slogans and songs has already started.
The social media team of BJP has already begun its online campaigns to increase its social media presence and ensure the party’s victory in the upcoming polls, next year.
The saffron party has launched four campaigns in UP under various slogans. Their main slogan is “Soch imandar, kaam damdar — phir ek baar BJP sarkar (Honest thinking, solid work — BJP government once again)”.
