SP leader Azam Khan’s Wife and Son summoned by the ED over a money laundering case

Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan’s wife and son have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over a money laundering case pertaining to the construction of Jauhar University. The ED registered a case in 2019 in the matter that it is probing.

SP leader’s problems don’t seem to end as his wife Tanzeem Fatima and son Abdullah Azam have to face the ED who have been summoned for questioning in a money laundering case related to Jauhar University. Both his wife and son have been asked to appear before the probe agency on Tuesday and Wednesday. Meanwhile, Azam Khan who had been earlier questioned by the ED in the same case is currently out of jail on bail. The family of Azam Khan has made several money transactions in the construction of Jauhar University.

Azam’s wife and son have been given numerous dates to appear before July 15. It remains to be seen whether both appear before the investigating agency.

During questioning by the investigative agencies, Azam Khan claims that all of the cases against him are politically motivated.
