Census after Lok Sabha elections: Amit Shah

After the next Lok Sabha elections, the census and delimitation will be done. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that women’s reservation will be implemented by 2029 elections.

Census will be conducted every 10 years. However, the census was not held in 2021 due to Corona. He said that the census will be held after this election.

“If there are loopholes in the Women’s Reservation Bill, it will be rectified. The opposition, which has been blaming the government for OBC quota, has never made an OBC or backward the prime minister. “BJP has done it,” he said.

“To ensure transparency in reservation, the responsibility of deciding women’s reserved constituencies will be entrusted to the Constituency Redistribution Committee,” he said.
