New Delhi: In a historic move, the Lok Sabha passed the Women’s Reservation Bill on Wednesday.
The bill mandates a 33% reservation for women in the lower house and all the assemblies.
Approximately 454 MPs voted in favour of the bill, while two voted against the bill.
