PM Modi Advocates ‘One Nation, One Election’ Strategy to Boost Development, Calls for Unity and Ambition by 2047

New Delhi: During the 78th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the need for the ‘One Nation, One Election’ strategy, arguing that frequent elections pose significant challenges to the country’s progress. Speaking after hoisting the national flag, Modi highlighted how development projects are often disrupted by the frequent electoral cycle, which occurs every three to six months.

Modi stated that holding simultaneous elections across the country would lead to greater political stability and remove obstacles to development. He also set ambitious goals for the nation, calling for India to become the skilled capital of the world, establish a space station, and rapidly advance to become the third-largest economy.

Looking ahead to 2047, Modi urged the nation’s 140 crore citizens to unite in their efforts to achieve the vision of a developed India, underscoring the importance of collective action in facing the challenges ahead.
