Four wrestlers of India to represent in Poland championship

Chandigarh: With the Open Ranking Wrestling Series to start in Warsaw, Poland from June 8, four Indian wrestlers will be participating in the championship.

The wrestlers who have got the chance to represent India are; Vinesh (53 kg) and Anshu Malik (57 kg) in the women’s freestyle competitions, in men’s category  Ravi Kumar (61 kg) and Sumit (125 kg) will be taking part.

Anshu Malik (19) has already won Asian Crown championship in 57 kg category. It is her first championship after grabbing Asian title in April. She has secured position in Olympic after reaching in finals at the Asian Olympic Qualifier.

The winners will get prizes. First Place: 10,000 CHF (Swiss Francs), second Place: 7,000 CHF and third Place: 3,000 CHF.
