T20 World Cup: After Defeating Scotland, Indian Team Visits Scotland Dressing Room

After India beat Scotland in the T20 World Cup 2021 on Friday, Virat Kohli and co-paid a surprise visit to the Scottish dressing room. It was a friendly gesture made by Kohli towards Scotland, a parting team who maintained resilience in the qualifying stages of the World Cup.

Delighted to have the Indian team in their dressing room, the Scotland team posted images from team India’s visit to their dressing room on their official Twitter handle.

Cricket Scotland tweeted, ‘Huge respect to Virat Kohli and co. for taking the time.’

Along with pictures of the interaction, it wrote “Priceless.”

Besides Kohli, other Indian stars like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin were also seen interacting with the Scottish players in their dressing room on Friday night.

Defeating Scotland in the T20 WC match in Dubai, India pulled a big win after restricting the team to 85 and ensured they stay in contention for a spot in the semi-finals.

India’s dominating win took it’s net run-rate to +1.619, which is now best among all six teams.
