Arab, African and Islamic summit from Saudi to end conflict in Gaza

Singapore: Saudi Arabia’s Finance Minister Khalid Al-Falih said on Tuesday that a summit of Arab, Islamic, and African countries will be organized to discuss the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.

“Saudi Arabia will hold an emergency Arab summit in Riyadh in a few days,” he said.

“In a few days, you will see Saudi Arabia hosting the Africa-Saudi Summit in Riyadh. After that, the Islamic conferences and other sessions held under the leadership of Saudi Arabia is to provide a peaceful solution to the conflict”, he said.

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will leave for Saudi Arabia on Sunday to participate in the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

China had mediated and ended the long-standing conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran. After this, this is the first time that an Iranian president is traveling to Saudi Arabia.
