Paris: PSG management gave an ultimatum to French superstar Kylian Mbappe amid transfer rumors. Ten days are given to decide the future. The proposal given by PSG CEO Nasser Al Khalaifi is to renew the contract or leave the club.
Amidst the rumors, Mbappe has arrived at PSG and started pre-season training. The media reports that the player has informed new coach Luis Enrique of his decision to stay at the club and that the contract will be discussed on Tuesday. Mbappe arrived at PSG’s training camp on Monday. Stars including Neymar have also arrived. Footage of Neymar and Mbappe hugging also surfaced.
Mbappe told PSG that he would not renew his contract after failing to win the Champions League title. Due to this, the player and the club officials got into a fight and the club decided to sell it this season if the contract is not renewed. PSG’s attempt is to avoid losing Mbappe as a free agent at the end of the contract. However, Mbappe was not ready to renew the contract or transfer. With this, PSG came with an ultimatum.
