Two Russians, One American astronauts sent to the space station

Moscow: Two Russian and one American astronaut began their journey to the International Space Station in a Russian spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Soyuz MS-24 carrying NASA astronaut Loral O’Hara and Russian space agency Roscomos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub took off into space.

Among them, O’Hara will stay on the International Space Station for six months and the other two astronauts for one year. O’Hara and Chubb are going into space for the first time. Besides, Kononenko is a veteran, having already been to the space station four times.
