Manipur: A middle-aged woman was shot dead in the state capital Imphal. Marim Lucy, a Naga woman, was killed. Her face was disfigured.
The incident took place in Saombung in Imphal East district. A mentally deranged woman was killed. This is the second time such an incident is taking place in Imphal. The police searched nearby areas and houses for the accused but could not find them.
Around 150 people have been killed and hundreds injured since the riots started in Manipur on May 3.
