Police Conducting Searches After Bomb Threat Reported at DU College

In New Delhi, panic ensued at Ram Lal Anand College of Delhi University when a staff member received a bomb threat message on his mobile phone Thursday morning, according to police reports.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Rohit Meena stated that the staff received a WhatsApp message at 9:34 am. Promptly, police, along with an ambulance, the Bomb Detection Team, and the Bomb Disposal Squad, swiftly arrived at the college premises and evacuated both students and staff.

“The area is currently undergoing thorough search and checking procedures. As of now, no suspicious items have been discovered,” the officer confirmed.
