An FIR was registered in Bengaluru on Tuesday night in the wake of spreading false news about the self-reliant Sarathi scheme of the Karnataka government and maliciously inciting communalism.
As soon as the news of the FIR came to light, the ‘Aaj Tak’ channel, its Editor-in-Chief Sudhir Chaudhary, ‘deleted’ the video from YouTube and social media.
After the FIR was registered at the Seshadripuram police station in Bengaluru, Sudhir Choudhary, who has tweeted, has alleged that ‘an FIR has been filed for what was questioned’.
“I have received information that the Congress government of Karnataka has filed an FIR against me. Is the FIR the answer to the question asked? That too with non-bailable sections. It means that complete preparations have been made for my arrest. My question was why the Hindu community was not included in the Swavalambi Sarathi Yojana. I am ready for any fight. Let’s meet in the court,” he challenged the Karnataka government in a tweet.
Karnataka ITBT Minister Priyank Kharge has answered this, If you sow an acacia tree, where will the mangoes come from? He joked that.
Why did you delete the video? Netizens question
‘Aaj Tak’ Sudhir Choudhary on the background of ‘deleting’ the video as the FIR was registered, the netizens asked, if you have done nothing wrong, why did you delete the video from YouTube and Twitter.
Also, some troll pages have also raised their questions about this and it is true that apart from spreading false news about the Karnataka government’s Swavalambi Sarathi Yojana, they have maliciously incited communalism. Now they are trying to get sympathy by using the ‘victim card’.
Meanwhile, some right-wing people are standing in support of Sudhir Chaudhary and ‘Aaj Tak’ and are posting ‘We are with you’.
