After the CCB police arrested Chaitra Kundapura and team who cheated businessman Govinda Babu Pujari of 7 crores to give tickets to Bindur, the deal for another ticket has come to light.
An FIR has been registered at the Ashok Nagar police station here against three people on the charge of cheating them to give BJP tickets from the Kanakagiri reserved constituency in Koppal.
Thimmareddy filed a case on July 19. It has been alleged that Timmareddy’s wife Gayatri was cheated of Rs 21 lakh.
Timmareddy was introduced to Delhi-based Vishalnag through Jeetu from Bengaluru. Vishalnag introduced himself as the head of BJP’s central election survey team.

Talking about this, Timmareddy said that I gave money to Vishalnag in a private hotel in Bangalore. Vishalnag had called me to Delhi for four days saying that he would give me the ticket. Finally when the ticket was announced my wife’s name was not there. When I called he said that he will pay after a few days. But he has not paid the money till now.
