Security Tightened at Bengaluru BJP Office After NIA Reveals Attack Plans

Bengaluru: Security has been intensified at the BJP office in Malleswaram following revelations in the NIA charge sheet regarding the Rameshwaram cafe blast case. The charge sheet disclosed that the accused had also planned an attack on the state BJP office.

In response, the Home Department has ordered enhanced security measures, including installing metal detectors, strict checks, and deploying additional police forces at the office. Visitors are now required to enter through metal detectors, while local police officials have been directed to maintain heightened vigilance.

The NIA charge sheet noted that the suspected militants behind Brookfield’s Rameshwaram Cafe blast had also intended to target the BJP state unit office, prompting the increased security as a precautionary step.
