Supreme court announced on Monday a committee of three lady judges to observe the rehabilitation of affected persons. On Monday the bench headed by Chief justice DY Chandrachud said that Smt Geeta Mittal , former Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir will be the head of the committee. Other members of the committee will be retired Justice Smt. Shalini P. Joshi and Smt .

The bench said that it is the endeavor of the Supreme Court to create confidence in the state and trust in rule of law should increase. DGP OF Manipur was present before the bench.
