Telangana: BJP chief promises Bulldozer Raj if voted to power

Telangana: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief has said his party would implement ‘bulldozer action’, like the one in Uttar Pradesh, to control crimes against women if they are voted to power.

Addressing a Telangana BJP Mahila Morcha Executive Committee meeting in Hyderabad, Bandi Sanjay said that if the saffron party is voted to power in the state, it would bring stringent laws for women’s safety.

Citing an example of the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government bulldozer crackdown model, the BJP leader said the houses of those involved in crimes against women would be razed.
“If the BJP comes to power in Telangana, bulldozers will be used on those who commit crime against women, as crimes are used in Uttar Pradesh,” he said.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar also accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government of its indifference to the growing number of murders and rapes in the state. People doubt whether the state has a home minister, he said.
