Kolkata (PTI): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday conducted search operations at the residences and offices of individuals linked to the arrested former principal of RG Kar Hospital, Sandip Ghosh, in connection with alleged financial irregularities.
Raids were carried out at the residence of Chandan Louhya in Kolkata’s Tala area and an office in Kalindi, with another team searching Ghosh’s ancestral home in North 24 Parganas district. According to officials, Louhya’s wife allegedly received a tender favor from Ghosh.
The ED is also probing questionable transactions between RG Kar Hospital and a supplier organization. This investigation runs parallel to a CBI inquiry that previously led to the arrest of Ghosh and three accomplices.
