Hamas Frees Two Israeli Female Hostages

Gaza: After freeing two American hostages, Hamas rebels on Monday freed two more Israeli citizens.

Nurit Cooper (85) and Yocheved Lifshitz (79) are the freed Israeli women, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said.

The woman’s family lives in the Nir Oz Kibbutz area of Israel and was taken hostage during the October 7 attack. Both husbands have not been released by the rebels, The Times of Israel reported.

The hostages have been handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and are now on their way home, the ICRC said in a statement.

Hamas rebels have taken more than 200 hostages during the attack on Israel.
