Supreme Court Dismisses Charges Against Isha Foundation, Declares Allegations Baseless

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday, August 18, dismissed charges against the Isha Foundation, led by spiritual guru Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, in a case filed in Coimbatore. The case, brought by Kamaraj, accused Sadhguru of manipulating his two daughters and keeping them under arrest.

In response to the allegations, the Madras High Court had previously ordered a review of all criminal cases filed against the Isha Foundation, leading to a police raid on the foundation’s premises.

The Isha Foundation challenged the High Court’s order in the Supreme Court. After reviewing the case and a detailed report submitted by the Superintendent of Police, the Supreme Court ruled that the allegations were unfounded and dismissed the charges as baseless. The court concluded that the accusations were far from the truth.
