KSRTC to Operate 2,000 Extra Buses for Deepavali Travel Across Karnataka and Neighboring States

Bengaluru (PTI): To accommodate increased travel demand during the Deepavali festival, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will run 2,000 additional buses from Bengaluru to various destinations from October 30 to November 1, officials announced Saturday. Following the holiday, special return buses will operate from November 3 to 4 from multiple locations back to Bengaluru.

According to KSRTC, special buses will be exclusively operated from Bengaluru Kempegowda Bus Station to Dharmastala, Kukkesubramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davangere, Hubbali, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppala, Yadgir, Bidar, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and other places.

Additionally, premium buses will depart from Shanthinagar (TTMC) to locations in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, such as Chennai, Coimbatore, and Ernakulam, while taluk and district bus stations will offer added services based on local demand.
