Bengaluru Airport Bomb Threat: FIR Registered Against Unidentified Individual

It is learned that a fake bomb threat call has been received that bombs have been planted in Kempegowda International Airport Terminal 1 and some flights. A complaint has been registered against an unknown person.

The case came to light late and based on the complaint filed by Geeta Rani, Manager of Terminal 1, a case was registered against the unknown accused at Bangalore International Airport Police Station on May 2. The investigation continues.

On the morning of April 29, a bomb threat mail was received from the ‘Terrorzers111’ group from the email address [email protected] with IP address 209.85.218.54 to the airport mail ID, the complaint stated.

“Bombs are placed on some planes that can explode at any time. “Also, a threatening mail has been received from the group stating that explosives have been placed at various locations inside Terminal 1,” he said.

Based on the complaint of the airport staff, the police registered an FIR under IPC Section 501 (1) (b), Section 507 against the unidentified person.
