Founded in March 2006 in Bangalore, the Danish Educational Trust (R) has committed itself to identifying and nurturing talented young individuals by catering to their fundamental financial requirements, thereby enabling them to fully dedicate themselves to their academic pursuits and holistic development.
The Danish Professional Education Scholarship 2023-24 for undergraduates and postgraduates is open for online applications. The last date has been extended to May 31, 2024.
The trust extends scholarships to students of all genders pursuing diverse professional domains such as Engineering, Medicine, Law, Journalism, Nursing, Allied Health, Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Education, and Civil Services.
Eligibility Criteria:
Under the Danish Professional Education Scholarship for the academic year 2023-2024, Muslim students who have enrolled in the first year of professional courses such as BE/B.Tech, MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, B.V.Sc, BSc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, B.Pharma, Pharma D, BSc Nursing, BDS, BPT, and B.Sc Allied Health through NEET 2023 & K-CET 2023 Counselling on merit basis are eligible to apply. Additionally, students enrolled in Law, Journalism, and Education courses are also eligible for the scholarship.
A total fund of Rs. 1 Crore 50 lakhs has been allocated for the financial year 2023-2024 to support over 500 deserving students selected based on both merit and financial background from across Karnataka.
Benefits:
The Danish Professional Scholarship is a one-time grant, with varying amounts allocated based on the field of study:
- MBBS: Rs. 35,000/-
- BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPharma, Pharm D: Rs. 30,000/-
- BE, B.Tech, B.Arch: Rs. 25,000/-
- BVSc, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry: Rs. 20,000/-
- BSc Nursing, BPT, B.Sc Allied Health: Rs. 20,000/-
- Journalism, Law Courses: Rs. 20,000/-
- BA B.Ed, BSc B.Ed, B.Ed Courses: Rs. 15,000/-
