The lessons of the Quran and Madrasas are not against the Indian constitution: BJP

The state minister for Muzrai & Haj and Wakf Shashikala Annasaheb Jolle said that the lessons of the Quran and Madrasas are not against the aspirations of the Indian constitution. In a written response to the question posed by Ravi Kumar in Karnataka legislative council, Shashikala stated it.
The statement becomes significant in the context of the state government setting up the special board for the Madrasa education system.
A committee has been formed under the supervision of the commissioner to get information about all the madrasas in the state. Education Minister B.C. Nagesh had ordered to submit a report on Madrasas in the state within 15 days.
Some members of the Sangh Parivar at large in Karnataka burst out on madrasa education. There was a huge outcry that terrorism and radicalism are taught in madrasas.
