BREAKING NEWS: High Court order to cancel the ‘public examination’ of class 5 and 8 in the state

Bengaluru: A single member bench of the High Court has issued an order cancelling the public examination of class 5 and 8.

This time the Department of School Education and Literacy has decided to conduct a public examination to check the learning standards of Class 5 and Class 8 students from the year 2022-23.

Parents and students were upset with the department’s decision. After this, the High Court single-member bench has issued an order cancelling the board examination of class 5 and 8. The education department had instructed all the schools in the state to conduct the annual examination for the students of class 5 and 8 of the state.

The Department of School Education and Literacy had decided to conduct an examination on the pattern of public examination to check the learning quality of students of class 5 and 8.

Students of class 1 to 9 were passed in the state. Thus the interest in learning is reduced. Students are lagging behind in learning due to Corona.

If this situation continues, in view of the fact that it is difficult for the students to face the entrance examination of various courses including SSLC, PUC examination, the education department had proposed public examination for the students of 5th and 8th class, but now the High Court has issued an order cancelling the single member bench board examination.
