Prime Minister Modi Announces 100 Rupee Reduction in LPG Cylinder Price

Today (March 8) is International Women’s Day. Intending to attract women, the central government has decided to reduce the price of cooking gas cylinders. 100 in the price of LPG cylinders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the reduction will be reduced.

In a tweet, Modi said, “The price cut will reduce the financial burden on millions of families across the country, especially, benefiting ‘Nari Shakti’.”

“By making cooking gas affordable, we aim to support the well-being of families and create a healthy environment. This is part of our commitment to empowering women and ensuring a comfortable life for them.”

The government on Thursday announced that the subsidy of Rs 300 per LPG cylinder under the Ujjwala Yojana will be extended for the new financial year starting April 1.

Currently, the price of a cylinder of cooking gas in Bangalore is Rs 1050. There are Also, 300 rupees being given under Ujjwala Yojana. The subsidy will end on March 31. The centre has said that the subsidy will continue for the next year as well.
