Retirement Ceremony: Bidar Village Honors Retired Headmaster Baburao Biradar with Procession

Bidar: In Janawada village of Bidar taluk, former headmaster Baburao Biradar of the Kannada and English Medium Government Model Primary School was heartwarmingly honored by alumni, parents, and villagers on Wednesday as he retired from his position.

At the farewell event held at the school, Deputy Director of the School Education Department, Saleempasha, praised Baburao Biradar as an exemplary headmaster, urging others to follow his example. Biradar expressed his gratitude, stating, “During my 31 months here, I undertook various initiatives to enhance the academic progress of the students. This was made possible with the cooperation of parents and villagers. The service I rendered at the school has given me immense satisfaction.”

As a token of their appreciation, the students presented Biradar with a 10-tola silver bracelet. The event was graced by the presence of Gurubasav Pattadadevaru of the Bhalki Hirematha Institution. Other notable attendees included Block Education Officer T.R. Dodde, District President of the Primary School Teachers’ Association Ravindra Reddy Malipatil, Gram Panchayat President Vaijayanthibai, PDO Savita Hiremath, new SDMC President Ashok Shrigann, and others such as Shivaji, Umesh Kouthale, Ismail Jamadar, Dhanaraj Patil, Sundaraj Bendre, Sanjeev Bendre, Basavaraj Panasale, Tukaram Jagadale, Raghunath, and Ganapati Takathadar.

Following the ceremony, a grand procession for Baburao Biradar was organized, starting from the school and passing through the Panduranga Temple and Hanuman Temple, culminating at the Gram Panchayat. The procession featured an elaborately decorated chariot, fireworks along the route, and old students walking alongside, while villagers adorned Biradar with garlands, paying their respects and celebrating his dedicated service.
