Rain, rain go away come again another day, is all what’s on several Kannadigas’ mind right now. Several districts of Karnataka were issued a yellow alert, yet again, by the Indian Meteorological Department on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Indian Express reported. This includes Belagavi, Bidar, Kalaburgi, Yadgir, Chamaranjanagr, Chikkamagaluru, Chikkaballapur, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya and Tumkuru
The IMD has issued a yellow alert in Bengaluru, the city will witness light to moderate rains from Tuesday to Saturday. The IMD in its bulletin said,“A cyclonic circulation lies over north Tamil Nadu neighbourhood and extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level,”
Bengaluru received 28.2 mm of rain, on Monday. The BBMP, the municipal body serving the city, however received no complaints of waterlogging or uprooted trees. Bengaluru received 23 mm of rainfall against an average of 59 mm, since October 1 to the morning of 10th October.
Bevoor in Koppal district and Narasipur in Mysuru received 80 mm of rainfall on Monday, while Hunsur in Mysuru and Srirangapatna in Mandya received 70 mm of rain.
