Delhi’s Air Quality Remains ‘Very Poor’ Despite Marginal Improvement

Delhi’s air quality remained “very poor” on Monday morning, despite a slight improvement from the previous day. While the minimum temperature was recorded at a pleasant 20.4 degrees Celsius, the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am stood at 327, categorized as “very poor”.

On Sunday, the AQI had reached 359. An AQI between 0-50 is considered “good”, 51-100 “satisfactory”, 101-200 “moderate”, 201-300 “poor”, 301-400 “very poor”, and 401-500 “severe”.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported a high humidity level of 88% in the morning. The weather forecast predicts predominantly clear skies throughout the day, with a maximum temperature of around 34.2 degrees Celsius.
