PM Modi arrives in Uttarakhand to inaugurate multiple projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived Uttarakhand on Thursday for a daylong visit to inaugurate multiple developmental projects and will also address a public meeting in the state. Reena Joshi, Pithoragarh District Magistrate confirmed the arrival of Modi by stating that the Prime Minister has arrived at Adi Kailash peak at Jolingkong. The District Magistrate also said: “He will have a darshan of Adi Kailash and, an abode of Lord Shiva, at Jolingkong and offer prayers at Jageshwar Dham and Parvati Kund. He will also visit the border village of Gunji.”

The Prime Minister also announced his arrival in the state by making an official statement over platform X, “Our government is committed to the welfare of each and every individual of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and the rapid development of the state. To i9mpart more speed to it, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation of several projects in Pithoragarh. I will also get the good opportunity of interacting with the people of Gunji village.”

The cultural troupes of Uttarakhand’s Kumaon region will welcome the Prime Minister at several points of a renovated 6-km road which has been decorated of paintings and murals as he travels from the Naini Saini airport to attend a public meeting at a decided venue. After visiting the village, the Prime Minister will meet the security personnel and the local people of the village, as reported by the officials. He will also offer his praying to Lord Shiva at the Jageshwar Dham and will thereby address the public meeting at Pithoragarh.
