Davangere: An FIR has been lodged against BJP MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal following his explosive claims that a leader had amassed Rs 1,000 crore to topple the Congress-led government in Karnataka.
The complaint, filed by KPCC General Secretary S. Manohar at the Gandhinagar police station, addresses Yatnal’s allegations that BJP leaders were plotting to use the funds to bribe Congress MLAs and install themselves as chief ministers. The case has now sparked further controversy within the state’s political landscape.
