Referring to the recent incidents of communal attacks in the country, Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon said, ‘Looking around the country, it seems that the country has become Afghanistan, not Bangladesh. The events that are happening, these are not the character of Bangladesh. He said these things at a discussion meeting in memory of Shaheed Jahanara Imam at the Abdus Salam Auditorium of the National Press Club of Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, around 12:30 pm on Saturday. Menon thinks that the public court against communalism, the Gana Jagran Manch should be united again. Communism should be prevented by unitedly fighting on the ground with the youth.
