Brand Bangalore logo released by BBMP

With the objective of all-round development of Bangalore and making the city a centre of global attraction, Karnataka Government has launched ‘Brand Bangalore Abhiyan’. Bharat Bangalore Mahanagara Palika (BBMP) on Saturday launched the ‘Brand Bangalore’ logo.

The aim of making Bangalore a centre of global recognition in eight different dimensions, the ‘Brand Bangalore Conference’ under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has been arranged on the 9th (Monday) at 10 am at Gnana Jyoti Hall (Central College Campus).

Advice is expected from the dignitaries attending the conference on many important issues including tourism, health, investment, education and research, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, innovation, job creation, and economic mobilization.

It is said that Ministers, MLAs, MPs, Legislative Council/Rajya Sabha members, senior officials of various departments of the government, retired senior officials, experts on 8 issues, and eminent persons will participate in the Brand Bangalore conference and think about preparing a blueprint for the new Bangalore.

The Brand Bangalore concept prioritizes effective urban planning, sustainable drainage systems, efficient transport systems, smart traffic management, pedestrian-friendly roads, citizen safety, and convenience.

Brand Bangalore is committed to creating well-planned footpaths, dedicated cycling lanes, green spaces, active transport, and healthy lifestyles to make it a pollution-free and green city.
