Bangalore: Chance of rain for the next two days; Meteorological Department

The monsoon has intensified in some parts of the state and the Meteorological Department has predicted that it will rain in Bengaluru for the next two days.

Bangalore has been experiencing dry weather for the past ten days. November 23 and 24- About 30-35 mm of rain is expected in Bengaluru on these two days, according to the Meteorological Department.

Heavy rain is expected in 7 districts including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Shimoga, Kodagu, Hassan, and Chikkamagaluru. In this background, the Meteorological Department has announced a ‘Yellow Alert’ for these 7 districts.

Bagalkote, Belgaum, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapur, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore City, Chikkaballapur, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysore, Ramanagara, Shimoga, Tumkur, Vijayanagar districts will receive rain.

Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, and Udupi districts will receive the heaviest rainfall on November 24. Vijayapur recorded the lowest temperature of 14.5 degrees Celsius.

It has been cloudy since Tuesday in Bengaluru, and moderate rain is likely on Wednesday.
