Hindu youth flags saffron flag in Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Ram Mandir inaugural ceremony

It was a day before the much-awaited consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, a group of youths from the Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh had raised a saffron flag at the top of a house that had a Christian Cross in its top earlier.

The crowd was seen cheering “Jai Shri Ram” while placing the flag over the sacred Christian cross. The district of Jhabua lies in west MP and it is a Bhil tribe-dominated which is bordered by Gujarat.

There was a viral video of the incident, which took place few hours after the Sunday prayers. The video showed two youngsters putting the saffron flag. The flag was bearing the image of Lord Hanuman and the religious slogan “Jai Shri Ram” which was close to the Christian Cross on top of the house. There were also other group of people who had been accompanying the two youths. They were also seen shouting the slogans of Jai Siya Ram.

“We asked him for the complaint to act in the matter, but he (Darbu) refused, stating that he had nothing to complain about, as those who put the flag on top of the house were known to him. He didn’t want to make any complaint,” Agam Jain, the police superintendent of Jhabua district told the reporters.
