Ten Additional Pakistani Nationals Arrested Near Bengaluru

Bengaluru police have arrested ten more Pakistani nationals for illegally residing in India using fake documents, bringing the total number of such arrests in Jigani to 17.

The latest arrests follow the apprehension of Parvez, a man accused of assisting and harboring 22 Pakistani citizens in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka under Hindu names.

In a recent case registered in Jigani, police arrested 10 Pakistani nationals, including six women, for illegally staying in India with fake or forged documents. Some of them were also found to be overstaying their visas.

While some of the arrested individuals were using Hindu names, others retained their original names. Previously, four members of a Pakistani family were arrested in Jigani. Subsequent investigations led to the detention of three more Pakistani citizens in Peenya by Jigani police.
