Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility for Baba Siddique’s Murder; Two Shooters Arrested

Mumbai: The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the assassination of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot dead outside his son’s office in Bandra East. The incident took place around 9:30 PM on Saturday, with three shooters involved in the attack.

Mumbai Police have arrested two suspects—Gurmail Baljit Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh—while the third shooter, Shiv Kumar Gautam, remains at large. The shooters were paid ₹50,000 each for the hit and had monitored Siddique’s movements for months.

The gang’s claim was made through a social media post, which is under investigation by central agencies. The murder has sparked widespread outrage, with political leaders demanding swift justice and highlighting the collapse of law and order in Maharashtra.
