Patna (PTI): Pranav Kumar Pandey, father of Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan, officially rejoined Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) party on Sunday. Pandey was welcomed back into the party at a gathering attended by JD(U) national working president Sanjay Kumar Jha and state unit chief Umesh Singh Kushwaha.
Expressing enthusiasm, Pandey said, “It feels great to return to the party. Our leader, Nitish Kumar, has always inspired me, and I am committed to working hard to strengthen the party under my seniors’ guidance.” Jha added that Pandey had only stepped away briefly to support his son’s cricket career and is now resuming an active role in the party. “His return will undoubtedly strengthen JD(U) further,” he remarked.
